The Worship and Arts Ministry is one of the most exciting ministries in our church and it exists to exalt God, edify the believers, and evangelize the lost. John Piper adapts Jonathan Edwards’ perspective on worship, saying “The fuel of worship is the grand truth of a gracious and sovereign God; the fire that makes the fuel burn white hot is the quickening of the Holy Spirit; the furnace made alive and warm by the flame of truth is our renewed spirit; and the resulting heat of our affections is worship, pushing its way out in tears, confessions, prayers, praises, acclamations, lifting of hands, bowing low, and obedient lives.”

Our prayer is that this church would see a revival of true worship! John 4:23 says that “the true worshippers will worship him in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks.” Prayerfully consider serving with us, as we have many different opportunities for you to get plugged into this dynamic ministry. If you have any questions or needs please contact David Schrodt at the Lexington campus or Michael Allen at West Columbia.

Worship Choir

The worship Choir at the Lexington campus leads our congregation in singing in each of our weekly services. They also perform seasonal concerts. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00pm in the choir room. No audition necessary.

Praise Band

The Praise Band supports our choir in leading worship in our weekly services as well as playing for seasonal presentations.

Audio, Visual & Lighting

The purpose of this ministry is to enhance the worship experience with exceptional audio quality, lighting effects, and powerful visual presentations.

Senior Adult Choir

This committed group of senior adults, known as the Silver Saint Singers, come together each Monday in the choir room at the Lexington campus from 9:45-11:00 a.m. for rehearsals and fellowship. They perform two seasonal musicals each year. No audition necessary.

Northside Kids Choir

Children are very important to the ongoing and future ministry of our church; therefore, it is our goal to provide children with the best possible opportunity to learn essential life-skills, Biblical truths, and the joy of worshiping God through music and the arts. The ministry includes choirs for children from preschool through the fifth grade. The Preschool & Children’s Choirs participate in their own yearly productions as well as other church-wide events and productions.

These choirs rehearse on Sunday evenings at 5 p.m. in the kids worship room at Lexington campus.
